My work with this organization is diverse and multifaceted, and I absolutely love it. I'm an active licensed massage therapist since 2013 and a business owner since 2019. I feel incredibly honored and blessed to be a mentor and leader in my community and to have Zach by my side with his love, support and creative genius everlasting.

After working for the founders of Breathe for a little less than three years, it was in February of 2019 that Zach and I acquired the company. Now well into our eighth year of running business, it continues to be a kick ass journey as we evolve and grow Breathe Wellness to new heights.

"I have been passionate about health and fitness for most of my life, with a focus on sustainable well-being, growth and self-improvement across various elements. To enhance my ability to connect and support others—and myself—I decided to pursue my massage license, which I received in 2026. I believe in the power of connection, growth and forming meaningful relationships with incredible people from around the world. Massage has been an amazing way to connect with others and to help them better understand their bodies. "I have known for a long time that I wanted a career that can help others. As a young girl, I maintained the aspiration of becoming a massage therapist. Throughout my life, friends and family would frequently ask me to give them massage, so it seemed like a calling. Naturally, as I grew into adulthood, I decided to enroll in massage therapy school. Since graduating in 2008, this path has proven to be the work I sought for as a child, and it's been fun and joyful to evolve and grow in my practice over the years.

 

I enjoy educating clients that a massage doesn’t necessarily have to be very deep pressure to help heal a sore or injured body. And I truly believe in the power of intuitive touch to assist others in healing not just their physical body but also their mental and emotional space. "After ten years as a pharmacy technician, I decided to take a different approach to my career in healthcare. I was aware of the power of massage therapy and felt that it would be a more fulfilling direction for me. In 2013, I officially stepped onto my new path when I graduated from Everest and became a licensed massage therapist for the state of Oregon.

 

Since then, my dream has become a reality--giving massage is a true passion. I'm humbled to assist others in relieving pain, recovering from injury or surgery and reducing stress. In my work, I especially love giving firm pressure relaxation massages, which is a combination of Swedish and a little deep tissue. I also thoroughly enjoy aromatherapy and TMJ therapy.

"Hi! I'm Dawn, sports massage therapist specializing in John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release and manual lymphatic drainage. After years of having a driving career and feeling the effects of sitting for long periods of time, I decided to take a new path. Since graduating from Everest College and becoming a licensed massage therapist in 2011, I remain ever passionate about learning, evolving and expanding my skills and intuition so that I can continue to assist others (and myself!) on their wellness paths.

 

I have studied under master specialists in the John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Method, which has greatly deepened my understanding of and ability to work with the myofascial systems of my clients. I'm extremely passionate about this and encourage you to book a Myofascial Release treatment with me. It's a very gentle yet incredibly powerful form of bodywork. Recently, I began teaching continuing education courses for other licensed massage therapists, which is turning into a new passion for me. I'm just over here loving all things massage therapy!
